Today, we had the pleasure of hosting yet another incredibly successful Open Day, and it’s all thanks to our fantastic members and the dedication of our Tennis Coach, Darren. We would also like to extend a heartfelt special mention to Rosemary, Charlotte, Dave Molloy, Saulius, and Daniel, whose contributions added a distinct and invaluable touch to this memorable day. Here’s a glimpse of the unforgettable day we had:
Fun Games for All Ages: Our Coach Darren brought his A-game in organizing a variety of fun games that kept our young tennis stars entertained and our adults actively engaged. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as everyone, from kids to seasoned players, joined in the excitement.
Delicious Food and Refreshing Drinks: What’s an Open Day without delicious food and refreshing drinks? From savory snacks to sweet indulgences, there was something for everyone to savor. And let’s not forget the ice-cold beverages that kept everyone cool and hydrated throughout the day.
Cake Competition Extravaganza: The highlight of the day had to be our Cake Competition. Bakers showcased their culinary creativity by presenting an assortment of stunning cakes that looked almost too good to eat. The judges had a tough job selecting the winner. Congratulations Hanna McMahon on your well deserved victory. Your cake was an absolute delight!!!
Speed Gun Serve Challenge: For sports enthusiasts, the Speed Gun Serve Challenge was the ultimate test of skill and precision. Participants stepped up to the challenge, showcasing their capabilities as they served with incredible speed. It was a thrilling display of talent and determination. Congratulations to young Matthew for his impressive victory in the speed gun serve challenge, where he reached an astounding speed of 135 km/h.
Raffle Finale: The excitement reached its peak as we concluded the day with our highly anticipated raffle. Prizes ranged from private coaching lessons, to bottles of wine, see full list below including winners:

The raffle added an extra layer of thrill to an already unforgettable day.
