For those interested in competitive tennis, Ratoath Tennis Club offers more competitive opportunities than most clubs. Due to it’s geographical location it is eligible to participate in both the Dublin Lawn Tennis Competition Circuit and also the Leinster Tennis Regional Leagues.

Plenty of opportunity for the most die-hard competitors!
In addition, Ratoath has been running a Senior Open Tournament since 2024. In it’s first year, it drew in 187 competitors and from 2025 it has been upgraded to a fully official Tennis Ireland scheduled Tour 200 Tournament. This competition offers members a wonderful opportunity to play similar level opponents in a competitive but friendly home environment. Make sure to get involved!
We think there is something for everyone at Ratoath Tennis Club. We have active social media groups for all abilities that organise their own weekly matches, informal games, daytime matches and even their own friendlies with other local clubs. It’s also a great fun way to stay in shape. Our synthetic grass carpet is easier on the knees and joints than hard surfaces other sports are played on so why not come down and give tennis a go!
